I think that in this case, the first consideration would be that Patterson had lost his iPhone on the tour bus which was like the loss of a title to someone else who would find the property and then claim the transfer of the title of ownership because of the lost property by Patterson. However, Patterson had never purposely or purposefully left his iPhone on the tour bus so that it would get lost or be owned and possessed by another individual. It was just a careless mistake and an act of carelessness on the part of Patterson.
